I am now out of the locking shackles and living with the permanent shackles only, I still am allowed to wear thick socks and hi-top trainers while i am becoming broken in to wearing them on a permanent basis.
Last night my wife came home and was impressed that I had riveted the shackles in place, however I had to live with both shackles fitted until later in the evening.
We first of all had dinner, she then took all the tools out to our garage and locked the doors. Took the keys to the garage to her car (she knows I wouldn’t go to the car in shackles to try and fetch the keys because of the risk of being seen due to the noise of dragging the chain over the concrete surface) where they will be out of my reach. She then came back with the keys to the locking shackles but refused to release them (I was getting quite angry but had to contain myself to avoid any sort of punishment) until she was good and ready to do so.
Later in the evening she decided to have a close inspection of the permanent shackles to satisfy herself that they are not coming off without my tools. Finally the Clejuso were removed.
I slept a lot better last night as these are much more comfortable.
Today I have been getting used to walking once again with smaller strides, climbing stairs one step at a time as opposed to two and changing cloths method. I am guessing that after a few days I will have become familiar with the restriction these shackles impose.
